翳りと希望を追及する音、確固たる人の持つ心の存在に焦点を当て、強烈に轟くギターサウンドと静寂との狭間に独自の世界観を作り上げる。 2008年にANEKDOTEN(From Sweden)来日公演サポートを務めた後、ヨーロッパを中心に世界12ヶ国でアルバムをリリース、その後台湾、中国へのツアー、ヨーロッパ（フランス、ベルギー、オランダ、ドイツ、スペイン等）ツアーや、オーストラリツアー敢行。数度のメンバーが替わりながらも、映像を用いたライブでよりダークで、ヘヴィネスな楽曲への変容を遂げ、ダークポストロック・メタルバンドとしてのポジションを確立する。
Presence of Soul pursues a unique sound that contrasts powerful, roaring guitars with silence, focusing on the undeniable presence of the human spirit. In 2008, the band supported ANEKDOTEN (Sweden) on their Japan tour, and has since released albums in twelve countries worldwide, mainly across Europe. They went on to tour Taiwan, China, and Europe (including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain), as well as Australia. Through lineup changes and the use of visual elements in their performances, the band has evolved into darker, heavier expressions, establishing themselves as a leading dark post-rock/metal band.
